Lighter Days is an iPhone app that shows the photos you took on this day, this year and in all previous years, and helps you decide which to keep.

Where did my deleted photos go? Confirmed deletions go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app. You can recover them there for 30 days, after which iOS removes them.

Why hasn’t my storage gone down? The space comes back only after Recently Deleted is emptied, either by you or automatically after 30 days.

Why does the app ask for Full Access? With access to selected photos only, Lighter Days can’t show everything you took on a date. You can change this in Settings → Apps → Lighter Days → Photos.

What happens if I delete the app? Your photos are not affected. Your marks and history are removed.
